Had to swing by and pick someone up at one of my favorite places in town recently, our gorgeous Union Station. I love this place: the spectacular architecture, the hustle and bustle, hellos and goodbyes. Also known as "The Last Great Railway Station," it's such a romantic place, it makes me feel like I'm in an old movie from the 30's or 40's. Loves it!
Workin' it outside the entrance. Work! Turn to the left! Work!
People-watching in the dramatic lobby.
I wore what I call my "Casablanca" jacket--my cute stylish white trench. Whenever I wear it I feel so glamorous, like I'm on my way to Rick's Café Américain, and romance and intrigue are about to ensue. An afternoon duck breast treat is about the most thrilling it gets around here these days. But mark my words, oh yes, exciting adventures will be mine. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow...but soon and for the rest of my life!
At Union Station I was also lucky to meet this cutie, Ami Yares, a musician from Joisey. He was on his way to his gig but made time to chat with us and give us a CD. Ami was cool and friendly as can be, and he's super talented!
